Membership Benefits

  • Engage with positive-minded, creative, friendly people who share your interest in calligraphy and the book arts.
  • Attend membership meetings (usually 9 per year) that provide opportunities to increase your skills and to have fun.
  • Keep up-to-date on calligraphic classes, workshops, and events in the area and beyond.
  • Have first priority for registering for workshops.
  • Be exposed to nationally and internationally known calligraphers and their work.
  • Have access to the TCG “Members Only” section on this website, an idea-sharing and information network for Guild members only.
  • Be invited to share your work on this web site and in our annual exhibit.

Deciding to Join

If you’re on the fence about whether Triangle Calligraphers’ Guild is the right group for you, you may attend two meetings before you need to pay dues and become a member. There’s also the option to attend TCG meetings on an as-you-go basis, by paying a fee of $10 per meeting.

How to Join

You can join Triangle Calligraphers’ Guild anytime during the year. Annual dues are $30 and are accepted in cash or by check. Membership renewals are due in September, and may be brought to the September meeting.

TCG is granted exemption from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is classified as not a private foundation within the meaning of section 509(a) of the Code because it is an organization described in Section 509(a)(2). Donors may deduct contributions to the organization as provided in section 170 of the Code.
